Translations to Indonesian

Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) is the official language of Indonesia and therefore one of the most widely spoken languages worldwide. In East Timor, a former Indonesian province, it is an official working language. It is spoken by a further 1.5 million people worldwide.

It is written with the Latin alphabet and resembles Malay. Loanwords from Portuguese and Dutch exist.
