"Art is not language, language is language"

The Towers, the Deutsche Bank Group Head Office in Frankfurt, have been modernized, and the art on display therein, which caused quite a stir back in the 1980s when the first tenants moved in, has now been updated and given a more international touch. Focussing primarily on post-war German art in the past, it now consists of works from almost one hundred artists from the new growth centres around the world with their own vibrant art scenes and unique forms of expression.
Visitors to the Towers will enjoy an expedition through Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas, and experience drawings and photographs from more than thirty different countries.
A catalogue was published to present around two hundred pieces on show, with texts from a variety of contributors.
Context GmbH, Cologne, were entrusted with the task of copy-editing and adding the final touches to the English-language version.

Telecommunications technology: Translation of Lucas-Nülle's latest catalogue
Once again Lucas-Nülle GmbH (LN) has commissioned Context GmbH in Köln to translate its latest catalogue into English, French and Spanish. On this occasion, the subject matter is telecommunications technology.
LN specialises in training systems for further and advanced technical and vocational education, is Germany’s leading player in this field and has a worldwide presence in vocational training. LN has been working with Context for over a decade and time and again calls on Context to translate their complex material because of their specialist expertise in the fields of high-tech, engineering and sciences.
Context started translation work in 1990, initially in the natural sciences and educational systems, for numerous companies including the Deutsche Forschungsdienst and Forschungsgemeinschaft and numerous other companies in the training and education field, such as 3B Scientific GmbH, Cornelsen Experimenta GmbH, MEKRUPHY GmbH

Latest publication translated by Context: "Swiss Standards"
Family-run businesses are at the core of the Swiss economy, accounting for around 88% of all companies and employing three quarters of the working population. This latest publication "Schweizer Standards - Aus bester Familie" is a bilingual (German and French) presentation of 100 Swiss family-run businesses, portraying their success and even providing insight into the history of the Swiss economy.
Context completed the French translation in the spring of 2010.
Green Production
'Green Production' appeared on the market in the spring of 2010
This volume in the Deutsche Standards series published by the German Engineering Federation and sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, gives a bilingual (English and German) account in words and pictures of the country's Top 100 technology companies in the field of efficient production methods and sustainable use of resources. Spectacular individual projects and successful research institutes also feature prominently in the pages of this book.
This sample of Context's work was presented in April 2010 by German Minister for Education and Research, Prof. Dr. Annette Schavan, at the Hannover Messe, the world's leading showcase for industrial technology.
This is the latest publication in the Deutsche Standards series to which Context contributed. Others include "Energy Technology of the Future", "The Best of Germany", "German Standards" and "Brands of the Century".
Flagship project in automotive market research enters 20th year
During this time, Context was entrusted with the task of translating customer satisfaction surveys for up to a dozen household-name car manufacturers. Mostly on a daily basis and requiring next-day delivery. Helping engineers and designers optimise the world's main mode of transportation.
